Ratanveer Foundation (RF) is a non-profit organisation registered and licensed under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, Government of India.
Ratanveer Foundation aims to address the challenges faced by poor communities through development and participatory action.
Ratanveer Foudation believes in working with government, civil societies, CSR and individuals working for uplifting poor masses in urban and rural India.
Background
Ratanveer Foundation is named after founder Kamabhai Rathod’s grandfather and grandmother Virbhanbhai and Ratanben respectively. The grandparents devoted their lives helping vulnerable families. Virbhan bhai could not get much education but despite that he remained very active in cooperative movement in his village and nearby areas of Vadgam village in Surendranagar district, Gujarat. Because of his honesty and commitment, he remained the president of village level Farmers’ Cooperative Society for many years and brought it to profit making cooperative. He devoted his life to bring social harmony and strengthen social fabric in the village.
